The Netherlands: Results of Koala ProjectOur Dutch partners presented the results of the KOALA Telemonitoring study at the E-Health Congress “De zorgconsument aan zet”, organised by the Federation of Patients and Consumer Organisations in the Netherlands (NCPF) in Apeldoorn.
The Telemonitoring study took place from January 2007 to March 2008 as part of the Project KOALA. More than 200 patients suffering from chronic diseases participated in the program.

The renowned Cromwell Hospital in London recently was film location for a report of Abu Dhabi TV about modern medical technologies.
Zydacron was invited to demonstrate the BETAVISTA video care solution, installed in a comfortable patient suite.
Austria: Project Kick-Off "Videofon" - The audience curiously followed

Volkshilfe Steiermark, one of the 3 leading care providers in Austria, recently presented a new project “Videofon”.
Together with their partners Telecom Austria and Zydacron, Volkshilfe will offer consultation and advice in care issues for their customers.
Italy: Telemedicine and -assistance in MilanOur partner ADiTech reports that their customer Europ Assistance and the City Council of Milan started a gratuitous initiative for 100 disabled persons, who will receive Telemedicine support throughout the following ten months.
100 persons have been offered this free service, since they often have difficulties in coming to their hospital for clinical controls and check-ups. At the same time, the family of these clients receives help and support from the Medical Service Center.
Modern Technology is used to provide first aid in case of an emergency, providing ECG and other vital data measurements, transferred via Zydacron’s videotelephony structure.
